Maxseal Fit Maxseal & Forget Failure Maxseal is an extremely high quality brand of stainless steel solenoid valves, designed and manufactured with reliability & integrity in mind. Maxseal valves have performed exceptionally well in harsh environments all over the globe for over 50 years. We are traditionally associated with offshore oil & gas applications, but we are also used onshore, particularly in coastal environments where a fully stainless steel construction is advantageous. Maxseal have installations with all of the big International Oil Companies, and most of the significant Nationals. We have a suite of global certifications including Atex, Gost & CSA. We will soon be approved by UL & Inmetro for the US & South American markets. Our valves are certified to SIL 3 & 4 and offer the very best in reliability and long life in hazardous area applications. All Maxseal valves utilise very high-force return springs as standard, ensuring that they operate when required. This feature is coupled with market-leading coil technology which guards against safe failures / spurious trips. The famous 1/4" & 1/2" stainless steel, 3-port, direct-acting ICO4S solenoid valve for instrument changeover duties offers the offshore and petrochemical industries uniquely reliable and heavy-duty unit. The range also includes 2 and 5-port configurations, as well as the ICO4N variant for specific applications. The IC03 range is a compact, lower power and reduced weight unit, specifically geared to today’s requirements in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. With its dual-certified solenoid magnetically fine-tuned to operate a 1/4" valve at 2W, yet retaining the traditional Maxseal generous operating forces and safety margins, the ICO3 is typically suited to applications such as emergency shutdown systems (ESD). The Maxseal SOV range offers instrument changeover and process control for hazardous areas. The range includes ?” to 4” solenoid valves certified for hazardous area use as well as general air, gas and liquid handling in oil and gas and petrochemical applications, including gas turbine fuel-supply control and the water industry. The Maxseal Air Operated Valve (APV), Pilot Operated Valve (POV), Spool Valve and Quick Exhaust Valves (QEV) complete range. We also offer high quality all S/S instrument Filter Regulators (IFR) for accurate pressure control with manual or automatic drain function. Nuclear The Nuclear Business Unit designs & manufacturers nuclear class valves for safety related applications, meeting the requirements of ASME Section III Class 1, 2 and 3. Our products include Bellows Sealed Globe Valves, Bellows Sealed and Packed Gland Needle Valves and Manifolds, Ball Valves and Butterfly Valves from both our Newman Hattersley and Ashford ranges.
